Like many houses, my childhood home had some issues with uneven sidewalks and steps. There was one step that sunk so much it became a tripping hazard. My dad wanted to fix the problem but found how expensive concrete replacement is. He knew there had to be a better option.
As he researched solutions, he came across traditional “mudjacking” techniques. The concrete step didn’t hold up with mudjacking, though, so he researched different methods and came across polyurethane. Polyurethane concrete raising uses foam to fill voids and raise the concrete. A small hole is used as a port to inject the material and the foam rises in seconds. It can help fix everything from driveways and patios to basements.
Next, my dad looked at companies that offered the polyurethane equipment. He soon realized that there weren’t many companies in the area that offered polyurethane lifting, so he decided to seize the opportunity and start his own business. In 2014, Level Best Concrete Solutions began.
After high school I joined the United States Marine Corps and spent several years away from my family deployed. When I got out of the Marine Corps I spent eight years living in the United Arab Emirates as an Air Traffic Controller. In 2016, I moved home with my wife and two children to be near my family and became a partner in my dad’s business.
Level Best Concrete Solutions has since grown to serve the South Suburban Chicago and Northwest Indiana areas, providing exemplary customer service, quality work, and reliability. At Level Best, we want to ensure that no one has to live with uneven or broken concrete. Level Best provides an affordable concrete raising and repair solution.
